An exciting opportunity to join Chesterton Community Sports College, an oversubscribed school with a thriving and expanding Maths department.

The Maths department at CCSC is one of the largest departments in the school, with six full-time Maths specialists. Due to our growing pupil numbers, we are looking for a teacher of Maths to join our successful team here at CCSC.

We welcome applications from ECTs, recently qualified teachers and experienced practitioners who are looking for opportunities in a proactive, positive and success-driven environment.

We welcome applications for a part-time role from high-quality teachers who require flexibility.

We would love for you to visit the school prior to interview, so you can see our department and get a genuine feel for CCSC.

Closing date for applications is 15th October 2026 at 09:00am. Interviews will be held on Wednesday 21st October 2026.

We look forward to hearing from you and hope you are excited by this fantastic opportunity to join our staff team and further your career in teaching!

Safeguarding Statement:

Collective Vision Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults, and expects all staff, volunteers and visiting professionals to share this commitment. We particularly welcome applications from under-represented groups, including those relating to ethnicity, gender, transgender identity, age, disability, sexual orientation and religion.

All roles across the Trust carry a responsibility for safeguarding practice. Some positions involve significant responsibility and daily work with children in regulated activity; however, regardless of the level of involvement, all staff and volunteers are expected to uphold the highest standards of safeguarding.

Appointment to any position is subject to a rigorous pre-employment and induction process. This includes an enhanced DBS disclosure (with checks against the appropriate barred list where applicable), references from current and previous employers, health clearance, right to work in the UK, child disqualification checks, prohibition from teaching or management (where relevant), and online and social media checks. Applicants must also declare any unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands or warnings in line with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975.

Further details regarding these checks are available from the Trust or via the GOV.UK website.
